Roles & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the identification of strategic and tactical business information needs for the organization. This requires analysis of those business information needs as well as the development, maintenance, and documentation of the tools for gathering and reporting this business intelligence.
Stay well informed of software developments and technology trends
A thorough understanding of business processes and data warehousing as well as a strong background in the SAP R/3 modules.
Act as liaison between the business community and IS and coordinate the implementation of Business Warehouse with other reporting initiatives
Participate actively as a SAP team member by passing on business experience and technical expertise to other team members in a cooperative team environment.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
Follow and understand changes to SAP R/3 system and how they will affect BW
Document BW configuration and processes in accordance with IS department standards
Communicate effectively and credibly with all organizational levels, with the specific ability to gain trust, draw out needs, creatively propose ideas, and immediately and expertly resolve conflicts and concerns
Gather and document business information requirements and opportunities for business intelligence improvement
Document and Train User Community on BW reporting functionality
Support Change Requests and align with overall business and technology goals and objectives
Responsible for testing (unit and integration) the solution before release to Production, including submission of appropriate integration test specifications
Maintain awareness of software product developments and trends in technology and determine if and how they can be used to enhance productivity at Comark
As mentor on the SAP - BW team develop and refine skills of teammates in areas of client relationship, business analysis, and technical understanding
Education & Experience:
BS/BA, MBA desirable
Minimum 4 years in a Data Warehousing business environment conducting business analysis, requirements definition, problem solving in an aggressive sales driven distribution environment
Preferably some experience with an electronics reseller
Minimum 2 years broad experience with SAP ABAP Development and Business Warehouse configuration in areas such as Cube Design, Queries, Delta Loads, User Exit Modification, etc.
Minimum two full implementations or upgrades required
Familiarity with Logistics Information System and CO - Profitability Analysis as they integrate with BW
Experience with change management and project management as it relates to the functional team
Above average organizational
Excellent verbal and written communication for presentation, negotiation, and persuasion
A team player yet an aggressive self-starter and change agent who requires little supervision and possesses leadership characteristics with a strong commitment to his/her career.
