Roles & Responsibilities:
Analyze business needs/problems, define requirements, architect/design solution to meet/exceed requirements, construct solution, and implement it.
This includes:
Work with management/personnel to analyze a need, define how information system technology can be utilized to solve business issues through the use of IDOC's.
Based upon requirements, develop a technical design that can deliver the required solution.
Utilize development tools and/or 3rd parties to build the solution. ABAP - SAP, Coldfusion, Perl - Internet.
Develop technical documentation and user training including procedures to utilize the solution. Identify if necessary, data conversion facilities, rollout schedules, and support issues
Develop system administration documentation to operate the system
Audit implemented solution to determine that requirements have been met.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
BS/BA with an concentration in a technical discipline .Minimum 3 years experience in the analysis, development and deployment of business application systems with the use of IDOC's.
Experience with order entry, distribution, procurement, financial, customer service systems.
Significant experience with dialog programming and user exits
Ability to develop a project plan, administer the plan, and execute a project on schedule
Manage multiple concurrent projects and handle multiple priorities
Excellent communication/people skills and ability to work in a team environment
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Can conceptualize and develop creative solutions. Embrace change and be a catalyst for future improvements
Ambitious, aggressive self-starter who requires minimum supervision and adapts easily to changing work requirements
